Christine Canedo is the Line Producer for Rain Media. Prior to working at Rain, Christine was the production manager for an HBO documentary for Academy Award-winning director, Ellen Goosenberg Kent, which will air in 2015. She was also the production manager for Showtime’s Emmy Award-winning documentary series, Years of Living Dangerously (2014).
Christine’s other documentary work includes post-production coordinating the documentary When the Drum is Beating (2011) and associate producing two documentaries while working for Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM). While working at MLBAM, Christine also produced numerous commercials and web pieces, and field produced at the MLB All-Star Game, MLB Opening Day, and the MLB Postseason.
Since joining Rain Media, she has been a part of Obama at War (2015), Inside Assad’s Syria (2015), Chasing Heroin (2016), A Subprime Education (2016), Confronting ISIS (2016), The Gang Crackdown (2018) and Bitter Rivals (2018).
Though Christine currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son, she is a Texan at heart, having been born in San Antonio, TX and growing up in Houston. She has a BFA in Film & Television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
